Immediately find the answers you are looking for. This guide will help you maximize your time when using FELIX.
Searching
Where: At its core FELIX is a powerful search engine, just visit the homepage or click the magnifying glass in the top navigation bar.
How: Search for key finance terms and the most appropriate content will be suggested immediately in a drop-down list. Click an item to access the content. If you need more results, click the more results button or use the filters on the left if available to limit the types of content. If you click on a question, the appropriate video will be loaded and your page will navigate automatically to the question you requested.
Top tips: Different types of content have different icons. Videos have play icons, questions have question marks and lessons have their bespoke lesson graphic. Content categories are reinforced using the same primary color for these items.
Videos and Lessons
Where: Lessons are comprised of concise, instructor-led videos. The lesson playlist is displayed on the left, with each video in order and important video information. You can jump to earlier/later videos by clicking the item. Each video has a voiceover explaining the methods on-screen.
How: Click the play icon on the video player (bottom left) to start the video. Your progress is saved as you watch. You can easily find all partially watched videos under My List at the top.
Top tips: Click the star in the playlist or below the video title to save the video to My List, click it again to remove it. (see below) Navigate to the previous or next lesson using the buttons at the bottom of the playlist (when available).
Questions and Answers
Where: Each video has its own question category displayed beneath the video player and a form to submit new questions. If something isn’t clear in the content please ask. We aim to respond within 24 hours.
How: Click the existing question title to see the details and any answers. Selected answers will be marked as best using a green background. Answers can be voted as useful too using the arrows beside them. To submit a new question please fill out the form and click submit. Keep the notification box ticked to ensure you are emailed when a response is posted. All questions and answers are anonymous to other users.
Top tips: If your form is blocked there is a button below it to email questions to us. We will submit them on your behalf.
My List and Account
Where: Located on the top navigation bar.
How: My List contains all of the videos you have chosen to save. It also automatically builds a list of partially watched videos, so you can return to items you were watching easily. Account enables you to edit your personal information. As with registration, only emails on our whitelist are permitted to use FELIX. Please do not share your login credentials.
Top tips: To remove an item from your list, click the video and then click the star again to remove it.
Requests
Where: Located on the top navigation bar.
How: If you haven’t found what you were looking for please use the request button to submit details of the content you wish to see or problem you are encountering. We are constantly publishing new information to FELIX.

Where: Located on the top navigation bar, look out for the little medical kit.
How: Click the button to see the help/support form and submit the details of the issue you are facing.
